Job Title: Physical Therapist : Rehabilitation
Location: Lady Lake, FL 32159
Setting: Acute Care / Rehabilitation Facility
Pay Range: $59.79 – $62.78 hourly
Schedule: 40 Hours per week | Monday – Friday
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a PT (Physical Therapist)
• Qualified applicants MUST have a current State license as a Physical Therapist
• Qualified applicants MUST have proof of current CPR certification
• Qualified applicants MUST have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program
• Previous home care experience is preferred
• Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
• Ability to work flexible schedule and travel locally
• Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and prolonged standing and walking
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a clinical setting, you will:

• Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures, transfer techniques, and use of equipment such as walkers and braces.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Utilize therapeutic equipment tailored to patient diagnoses and needs.
• Document and revise treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Manage and oversee other team members when applicable.
• Accept clinical assignments aligned with your education and competence.
