Job Title: CT/X-Ray Tech

Location: 200 Memorial Drive, Luray, VA 22835

Setting: Critical Access Facility

Pay Range: Discuss with Recruiter

Schedule: 36 hours per week, Fri-Sun, 6am-6:30pm (Note: Weekend requirements: every weekend)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 3 years of CT and Radiology experience
• Qualified applicants MUST have ARRT certification, VA license, and BLS (AHA) certification
• Knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology required
• Valid Radiology license in Virginia required
• Be willing to obtain or maintain Virginia state licensure

Responsibilities: As a healthcare professional in a critical access hospital, your role involves providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population.

• Perform accurate and high-quality CT and radiography procedures, ensuring adherence to imaging protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Assist with contrast injections and invasive procedures as directed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and compliance with safety standards.
