We at American Medical Staffing (AMS) received a powerful note from a client recently that recognized the exceptional patient care one of our LPNs provided.  LaNora C. was on assignment at a correctional facility in Virginia. When she responded swiftly to a medical emergency, her actions set in motion a chain of events that would profoundly transform a patient’s life and well-being.

As she applied the Heimlich maneuver to a choking patient, LaNora cleared the airway obstruction and noticed a concerning lump. Thanks to LaNora’s swift response and attention to detail, the patient was able to get additional life-saving treatment.
