Meet the Team: Lauren’s Journey at AMS
Introducing Lauren, our dedicated Recruiting Manager at American Medical Staffing. Lauren’s journey with us began in 2021 as a Recruiting Coordinator in our Hospital Division, where she quickly demonstrated her passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer service. Transitioning to Recruiting Manager in the Corrections Division the following year, Lauren continues to build strong relationships with clinicians while supporting them in their career goals. Beyond her professional role, Lauren is a proud Baltimore native, balancing the joys of motherhood with the demands of her career and enjoying moments of relaxation with family and friends. Join us in getting to know Lauren and her inspiring story further. “My name is Lauren and I am a Recruiting Manager at American Medical Staffing. I joined American Medical Staffing in 2021 as a Recruiting Coordinator in the Hospital Division. In 2022, I transitioned to Recruiting Manager in the Corrections Division. I have a passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service. It is rewarding to be able to connect with a diverse range of talent and be able to build strong relationships with my clinicians all while helping support them with their career goals. I currently live in Baltimore, MD where I was born and raised. I am a mom of 3 children, a 9-year-old daughter and 19-year-old and 15-year-old sons, and two fur babies, Smokey and Gunner. My fiancé works as a Baltimore City Firefighter. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am busy being a mom; managing the hustle of all the extracurricular activities, homework, and play dates and the shift work of a first responder. When I do get a few extra minutes, I enjoy going on evening walks, roller skating with my daughter, hiking at our nearby park, and enjoying a good glass of wine by the fire pit. In the summer, you can find me poolside relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Correctional Healthcare is a very rewarding experience and a great way to give back to the community. You can make an impact on individuals that can help them transition back into the community. Having staffed social workers in the correctional setting, you really hear how many inmates truly are overlooked and not given the support and healthcare they need. No matter where you are in your life’s journey sometimes it only takes that one person to make an impressionable impact that can change your life. I would love to connect with you to see if correctional nursing is a good fit for you!” Interested in connecting with Lauren? Email her at LPierce@AmericanMedicalStaffing.com.
