Job Title: LPN: Psych
Location: Savannah, GA
Setting: Psych
Pay Range: $1146 to $1430 weekly gross
Schedule: 12-Hour Days, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed.
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a LPN
- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in Psych
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Be willing to obtain GA or compact state licensure

Responsibilities
As a healthcare professional in a Adult Mental Health facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:
- Provides basic care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages, or performing catheterizations.
- Answers individuals’ calls and determines how to assist them.
- Observes individuals, charting and reporting changes in individuals’ conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
- Measures and records individuals’ vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
- Administers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids, and notes times and amounts on individuals’ charts.
