Job Title: RN: Med Surg/Tele - Stroke
Location: Towson, MD
Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Med Surg/Tele - Stroke
Pay Range: $1800 - $2000 weekly gross
Schedule: 12-Hour Nights, 7p-7:30a / Every other weekend, every other holiday
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local or Travel
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an RN
- Must have previous travel experience
- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of stroke experience
- Valid Registered Nursing license
- Be willing to obtain MD or compact state licensure

Responsibilities
- Manages daily patient assignment by appropriately setting priorities.
- Anticipates need for intervention by other disciplines.
- Compiles database and formulates nursing diagnosis.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments and document outcomes.
- Determines priorities for patient care needs or problems.
- Reassesses the patient as indicated by changes in condition and/ or response to treatment(s)
- Initiates and updates a written nursing plan of care for patients by incorporating scientific and psychosocial principles that support the nursing diagnosis.
- Incorporates information obtained from nursing care planning conferences into written nursing plan of care.
- Coordinates patient, family, significant other, and health team members in the planning of hospital and post-discharge care.
- If competent, serve as a charge RN and monitor productivity/patient flow
