Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Schools
Location: Stuart, FL
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: $46.77 - $49.11 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday (no weekends, no holidays, no call)
Hours: ~35 hours/week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: 2026-2027 Full Academic School Year (approx. 42 weeks)
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly (Travel reimbursement/stipends available for eligible candidates)
Requirements:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year start).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered depending on district supervision availability.
- 1-2 years of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with writing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a school setting, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing evaluations to determine eligibility for school-based communication services.
- Develop, write, and implement measurable goals and objectives for student IEPs in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide high-quality direct and indirect therapy for students presenting with various communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
