Job Title: Sign Language Interpreter (ASL)

Location: Leonardtown, MD

Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)

Pay Range: $37.00-$47.00 hourly (Pay based on experience) *

Hours: Full-time or Part-time options

Contract Length: 2025-2026 School Year

Requirements

· Valid state licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter

· Be willing to obtain MD licensure

· 2 years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

· Interpret classroom instruction, discussion and school activities using ASL.

· Support students’ access to academic content, social interactions and extracurricular activities.

· Collaborate with school staff and families to support the students’ educational participation, communication and inclusion.
