Job Title: School Based Occupational Therapist
Location: St. Louis, MO
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: $35.50-$45.00/hourly (Pay based on experience) *
Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hours: ~35 hours/week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: 40 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available,

Requirements

· 2 years of experience as an OT

· Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy

· Valid Occupational Therapist license

· Be willing to obtain MO licensure

Responsibilities

· Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.

· From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year.

· Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.

· Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.

· Conduct speech and language evaluations.

· Write and implement goals and objectives for IEP’s.

· Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.

· Work with children in variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.
