American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional – Physical Therapist to join our corrections medical team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is a medium security men's state prison with a maximum capacity of 1,192 inmates.

PT – Corrections Job Details:
  • Pay Rate: $556 to $756 per week
  • Schedule: Flexible
  • Available Shift: Days, 2 shifts per week
  • Start Date: Two weeks from offer
  • Located In: Chesapeake, Virginia
  • Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Physical Therapist license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.

As a Correctional Physical Therapist you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
